The Byōbu folding Japanese screens "wind wall" are Japanese screens composed of 4 to 6 panels painted with gouache on a gold leaf background. They are composed of several panels mounted in a mobile way. The panels are made of wooden frames covered with silk, or several layers of thin paper. Here represented a bird and rocks with the top part gilded to represent clouds in modern style. This screen must date from the 1930s  The Shōwa era is the period in Japanese history when the Shōwa emperor ruled the country   Production period - 1930s. Measures -  Width 265 cm x Depth 2 cm x Height 123 cm. Materials - Silk, Wood. Color - Multicolor.   Condition of the article, comments - Very good condition, repair at the back. Light use according to age and use (see photos).
