Reliquary Gothic style silver and gilt ecclesiastical box, modeled as a church or other architectural structure with an ornate pitched roof with pierced quatrefoil band and finials on top and "shingles" in the form of an eagle with spread wings; the sides feature reliefs with charity themed stories. There are images of saints at each end. Snail-shaped figural feet. The reference is to pilgrims and to the snail refers to the Sanctuary of Santiago de Compostela. Lined with purple velvet. Marked on the underside with an E and a stylized lion.
