Reliquary Gothic Style Silver And Gilt Ecclesiastical Box style Gothic - Style en Silver / Bronze Gilt, Italy 19 th century ( Anno 1865 )
Reliquary Gothic style silver and gilt ecclesiastical box, modeled as a church or other architectural structure with an ornate pitched roof with pierced quatrefoil band and finials on top and "shingles" in the form of an eagle with spread wings; the sides feature reliefs with charity themed stories. There are images of saints at each end. Snail-shaped figural feet. The reference is to pilgrims and to the snail refers to the Sanctuary of Santiago de Compostela. Lined with purple velvet. Marked on the underside with an E and a stylized lion.

From the bones of Saint Thomas, the Apostle (Ex Ossibus S. Thoma, Apost.). The relic includes the document, made up under the supervision of Archbishop and Bishop of Liège Franciscus Antonius de Méan, Mechelen, and is dated 1824.
