A lovely quality Edwardian inlaid mahogany musical tubular chiming longcase clock, having an eight day movement chiming on nine graduated tubular gongs, the arched dial can be set to silent or the option of two musical chimes, Whittington or Westminster, the clock strikes on the quarter and by the larger tubular gong on the hour, the inlaid clock hood having an moulded arched top with decorative brass patraes, columns either side, the longcase trunk having a arched and hinged glazed door displaying the pendulum and tubular gongs, the bottom section having an inlaid urn at the centre with various floral inlay.  The clock has recently been serviced and is ready to go.  Circa 1920. 22" x 15" x 91 1/2" high 56cms x 38cms x 232cms high

17th Century walnut Vargueno on stand

A superb quality 17th Century walnut Vargueno on stand, the rectangular case having the original iron carrying handles either side and strapwork decoration, the front having a shield shaped lock plate at the centre and and engraved lock plates at either side, the hinged fall lifting down to reveal a wonderful fitted interior comprising of sixteen drawers and two cupboards, which all have moulded front decoration and original brassware, the central top drawer having an arched panel drawer front with columns either side pulling out to reveal a secret drawer at the bottom, supported on a possibly later stand with turned columns terminating on sleigh feet which is united by a decorative turned and arched shaped stretcher.  Circa 1690.

19th Century burr walnut games / work table, the burr walnut moulded edge top folding over to reveal a green baize playing area, with a drawer below and two pull out slides, one slide that pulls out which has a draught and chess board and the other a backgammon board, below these you have a work basket, supported on two turned and carved columns united by a turned and carved stretcher, the columns end with carved cabriole legs with white china castors.  A lovely quality and practical piece of Victorian furniture.  Circa 1860.

19th Century French Kingwood and gilt mounted miniature partners desk, with a middle storage section with a long lid decorated with a lovely ormolu gallery dividing a pair of lifting lids opening to reveal various drawers and pigeon holes, on the front of the lids and all sides of the apron having lovely floral marquetry, supported on four nicely shaped and turned legs joined by a pierced plateau stretcher.  Circa 1870.

A superb quality 19th Century burr walnut and floral marquetry credenza of serpentine form, having a beautifully shaped and figured burr walnut top above a frieze with ormolu moulding, decorated with floral inlaid marquetry panels, the central cupboard door below having a large oval floral marquetry panel decorated with ormolu moulding and boxwood inlay, opening to reveal two fixed shelves inside lined with a red velvet material.  The central door flanked either side with shaped fronted glazed doors with ormolu moulding opening to reveal two fixed shelves inside, the columns at the front of the credenza are decorated with lovely quality ormolu mounts and further floral inlaid marquetry panels, supported on a shaped plinth decorated with ormolu mounts.  This cabinet is of exceptional quality and is in fantastic condition, have a lovely warm brown walnut colour.  Circa 1860.
