Early 19th Century camphor wood secretaire military chest made for the Chinese export market, having a combination of seven drawers and with each drawer having the original brass recessed handles and decorated with ebony inlay stringing, having four graduated long drawers and a secretaire drawer at the centre flanked with a tall single drawer either side, the secretaire drawer pulls out to reveal a black leather writing surface decorated with blind and gilt tooling, lovely fitted interior with various compartments and a single drawer opening to reveal a pen tray and further compartments.  The chest has brass and reeded ebonised mouldings, it splits in two for easy transportation and has the original brass carrying handles on the side of each piece and stands on turned feet.  Circa 1840. 44” x 20 ½” x 50” high 112cms x 52cms x 127cms high

19th Century inlaid rosewood cabinet of serpentine form, the shaped and wonderfully figured top above an inlaid frieze consisting of floral and urn decoration, a frieze drawer at the centre, mahogany lined with original brass turned knobs, below this is a hinged cupboard door profusely inlaid and decorated with boxwood line, opening to reveal a single fixed shelf inside, the door is flanked either side with a two tier compartment with a mirror back, supported on eight square tapering legs.  Circa 1890.

A Sheraton revival mahogany and marquetry inlaid display cabinet, the top section having a shaped cornice above twin glazed doors opening to reveal two fitted shelves and a mirror back, the bottom section of serpentine form having a hinged left up lid to reveal a velvet lined interior, this is above a two door cupboard, supported on square tapering legs ending on spade feet.  The whole piece is profusely inlaid all over and in excellent condition.  Circa 1880.

A superb quality 17th Century walnut Vargueno on stand, the rectangular case having the original iron carrying handles either side and strapwork decoration, the front having a shield shaped lock plate at the centre and and engraved lock plates at either side, the hinged fall lifting down to reveal a wonderful fitted interior comprising of sixteen drawers and two cupboards, which all have moulded front decoration and original brassware, the central top drawer having an arched panel drawer front with columns either side pulling out to reveal a secret drawer at the bottom, supported on a possibly later stand with turned columns terminating on sleigh feet which is united by a decorative turned and arched shaped stretcher.  Circa 1690.

A lovely quality Edwardian inlaid mahogany musical tubular chiming longcase clock, having an eight day movement chiming on nine graduated tubular gongs, the arched dial can be set to silent or the option of two musical chimes, Whittington or Westminster, the clock strikes on the quarter and by the larger tubular gong on the hour, the inlaid clock hood having an moulded arched top with decorative brass patraes, columns either side, the longcase trunk having a arched and hinged glazed door displaying the pendulum and tubular gongs, the bottom section having an inlaid urn at the centre with various floral inlay.  The clock has recently been serviced and is ready to go.  Circa 1920.
