“The Donkey Ride” A beautiful sculpture of 2 girls and a donkey in “Bianco Statuario marble” (white marble without veins) by Charles Reymond-Günthert. Paris Circa 1910 Dimensions: H80 x W75 x D35 cm. H31.50 x W29.53 x D13.78 inch. Charles Reymond-Gunthert (Vevey 1871 - La Comballaz. Vitazeile 1941), Swiss sculptor. Student of the Parisian sculptor Hector Joseph Lemaire. Academies and schools attended: National School of Decorative Arts of Paris Prizes received: 1st prize for decoration from the National School of Decorative Arts Works: Lausanne Historical Museum: Statue "The Hostage", by Charles Reymond-Gunthert, displayed above the fountain in the atrium of the Palais de Rumine, on the occasion of the Swiss National Exhibition of Fine Arts of 1904. Bronze sculpture” the Hostage” (1905) - Charles Reymond-Gunthert (1871 - 1941), Jardin du Rivage, Vevey Marble Relief.Museum in Ormont-Dessus, Switzerland Paris Salon 1913, he exhibited a portrait-medallion in silver.
